ContourGPS Waterproof Case - Get Ready To Get Wet!

ContourGPS Waterproof Case - Green

The guys from Contour just gave us a heads up that the ContourGPS Waterproof Case is ready to go and enroute to our store! Just in time for the warmer weather.

The new ContourGPS Waterproof Case is waterproof down to a depth of 180 feet (60 meters). So now you can have your ContourGPS locked and loaded for any water adventures. The waterproof case has the 1/4 inch bolt mount making it a breeze to mount the casing to any solid mount like the RAM Suction Cup. With a quick and solid flip of the latch, your are able to install or remove your ContourGPS in less then 30 seconds. An added bonus is the TRail locking system on the back so you can feel assured your camera will stay right where you mounted it. Wether you are scuba diving or wake boarding the ContourGPS Waterproof Case will bring a whole new level in your ability to capture the moment.

The case will allow you to slide the record button on and off, activate the alignment lasers and mount on the external TRails. Sweet!!

Whatever your water activity is, you can count on your ContourGPS staying safe and dry.

How deep will the GPS signal be recieved? Could this be used to map out new dive tracks?

@Tomstamp
Sorry, but the GPS signal will not work underwater for any consumer products including the ContourGPS camera.

hi, I bought the countour gps waterproof case but I don’t know how record button works. It seems to be magnetic. Could you explain how it works? Is there any other piece to be attached to the record button? Thanks

@Bruno
Yes, the case’s switch uses a magnet and does not physically make contact with the camera.

Hello, i have the case for mine, but when the camera is installed in the case, i slide the record button on the case but it will not move the record button on the camera it self, do you know how to sort this out ?

@ Daniel
The switch in the case has the same magnet as in the camera’s record switch to prompt the camera to start/stop recording. The case’s switch will not physically move the camera’s switch.
