camera mounting Review by Curt
Rating love the camera so far , but did not like the mounting for helmets
I found a mount called the X-shut.com which is an integrated mount. It can be on top or flush mounted with the integration system. I just mounted mine to my skydive helmet and it looks much better and cleaner. POV guys look into these mounts you may like what they have. I ended up getting mine from chutingstar.com
So far so Good. Let the jumping begin. The underwater case works very good for the scuba divers out there. Used mine on several dives and not one issue came up.

Water proof case on Drift HD Review by Curt
Rating I just wanted to let everyone know that the Drift HD that I bought from POV works great. The first chance I got to use it was with the under water case. Went to a depth of 18 meters and had it running in 720p 30fps. It work perfectly. Was super impressed to find out the it was dry as a bone in side. Went of several more dive and still worked great. Underwater you can hear the on / off tones very loud. It also work great on still picture modes and the colors were great. Now I am waiting for the Skydive season to start to give the camera a try. I just finished mounting it to my helmet with a mount i found from another company check it out. X-shut.com. It uses an integrated mount, which makes it flush to the helmet. Bought mine from Chutingstar.com. POV guys might want to look into carry this kind of mount.

Rating I'm coming from a GoProHD.
Quality wise they're about the same. There are times when the DriftHD's better but they're also times when the gopro's better. Overall I'm happier with the DriftHD due to the look colour and features. (Posted on 12-02-27)

Very good, performs awesome at high speeds! Review by Dave
Rating I love this camera. The picture is amazing when you play back on your HD tv. Only one problem, I lost one at 250 km/h and couldn't fine it. Anyway you guys could make a locating device that would talk back to the remote. Also, is this covered under warrantee, I did use the included velcrow strips, but they didn't hold. All in all, this camera has become one of my favorite toys; next to the bike of course - lol! (Posted on 11-08-21)

Rating Just wanted to say something nice about the 1080p HD170 Drift camera I just bought. The video quality is stunning compared to my last camera. Rating That says it all. Its the only cam that has a user friendly settings menu and a real display. Now I know what im shooting, if I got the shot or not, and took all the guesswork out of it.
