RAM Mounts UTV Base Mount Kit for POV Cameras
Whether your UTV or ATV is bone stock or loaded with accessory racks and guards, the RAM UTV Strap Base lets you choose the best possible mounting location for almost anything. Designed for a clean installation, this base accommodates most common tubing sizes on UTV’s and ATV's, allowing for the placement of the RAM rubber ball base. Safely concealing a strap clamp in a compact housing, you won’t have to worry about exposed sharp edges or unwanted loosening. The RAM UTV Mount Kit can also be attached to smaller diameter handlebars on ATVs using the included u-bolt hardware. With the ball base in place, you have the foundation for mounting your Point of View Camera, GPS, Cell Phone, Radio, etc.
The strap mount fits bars from 1.57" (40mm) to 3.15" (80mm) in diameter while the included u-bolts fit smaller bars from 0.75" to 1.25" in diameter. Once affixed it is super stable and easily adjusted by turning one knob. You to securely mount your POV Camera with a 1/4"-20 thread Tripod connector.
RAM Mounts are rigid and solid when locked in place. Since they use ball joints and a single tightening clamp in the socket arm, you can easily loosen both axles of movement at the same time. Simply position the camera where you want it, then tighten down the the giant wing nut and it all locks in place instantly. All RAM Mounts are marine-grade, rubber or powder-coated aluminum and stainless steel and made in the USA.
This Mount Kit includes the following 3 RAM Mounts parts:
1) 1" Ball with 1/4"-20 Aluminum Stud
The RAM-B-237, universal camera and camcorder base consists of a 1" diameter rubber ball, connected to a 1/4-20 camera thread. The male thread matches to our Tripod Mount adapters and cameras with the female threads.

2) 2" Double Socket Arm
The RAM-B-201-A, short double socket arm, has a socket at both ends that accommodates 1" ball bases. This socket technology allows for almost infinite adjustment and perfect viewing angles.

3) RAM Base with U-Bolt & UTV Strap
The RAM-B-231Z-2, powder coated marine grade aluminum UTV Strap base with 1" Ball, accommodates bars from 1.57" to a maximum of 3.15" in diameter. To mount the base, place on the rail then wrap the metal clamp strap with rubber sleeve around the rail and through the base. Tighten the screw knob on the metal strap with a screw driver until the strap has a firm hold on the bar.

Includes: 10" long metal strap, and 6" rubber strip that supports the metal straps to avoiding scratching or marking of the bar.
Two zinc coated metal u-bolts allowing you to modify the mount to accommodate other mounting locations with black cover caps to be placed over the exposed ends of the u-bolt.
