Nice and easy to store in your backpack as it retracts to be quite small, much easier than carrying a non-retractable pole. When extended though the pole is quite flimsy, It broke the first day i used it. Not well suited for action sports. (Posted on 12-04-11)

I could have used the X-shot when taking pics of myeslf. I love to take pics of myeslf but my arm just isn't long enough! So all of my pictures are close ups. (Posted on 12-03-28)

Been looking for a decent poll mount for my Contour Roam when I stumbled upon these "self shot" tele poles. After researching all the different ones offered, plus trying to make my own, I ordered the XShot. Awesome! More solid than expected, secure mount, and very adjustable. Seriously impressed. Loved it. Very sturdy and compact. Great to take self-pictures and videos when I travel. Quite nice to do youTube videos too.
